Free improvised music, and to that matter any genre outside of a very narrow mainstream, is a non commercial activity. Its practice is funded by the musicians themselves, promoters, volunteers & grant-aid bodies |

Therefore the concert schedule is not directed solely by our personal tastes but a series of compromises and luck. Given the financial climate, the realities of being a small voluntary organisation outside of a London-centric geography: we do a good job really. |
