The Frakture Festival of Improvised Music & Electronic Music

The Frakture Concerts team has decided to discontinue the Frakture Festival of Free Improvised Music as an annual event. Due to lack of resources and interest in the format that was being presented.

What happens next?

• The Frakture Concerts Team will research the inclusion of "free improvisation" within other Festival in the region. A collaboration with other art groups and art forms.

Is there anything planned?

• Discussions are at an early stage for a Festival of improvisation to be held at the bluecoat December 12/13/14th 2008. An initiative from the bluecoat this festival will cover a range of art forms, methods of delivery and may include open workshops, dialogues in process etc as well the standard "performance" format.
