Free Improvisation, its music, its nature and practice runs accross
a diverse range of attituces, approaches & styles.
It's work can involves "attentive listening" and "exploring
the creative dynamics of a group etc .(see

Its approach & content can be productive in a "community
arts or creative arts" setting. John Stevens an early pionner
of "free improvised music" and his book titled
search and reflect, were an important part of founding of "Cooperative
Music" in London. An istitution which today (2006) faciliates
Eddie Prevost to deliver his workshops in free improvised music.
