Phil Morton invented 'The Listening Room'. From the start, Roger Parry
assisted him. It opened its doors in summer,
1998 - and has since presented regular sessions either contrived by Phil,
usually incorporating live performance, or audio presentations [ now called Listening Posts] derived by Roger from an archive
of recorded material mainly associated with the genre of 'free improvisation'. After a period of dormancy The Live Listening |Room sessions have re-appeared. Visit the Mello Mello on the last Friday of the month and you'll experience the Listening Room..Current schedule, here, [link]
