Recently, my wife and I were in London for a few days.

On one of them, we went from our South London place to Waterloo and then took the Northern Line on the tube to Archway.

We took a stroll past Dick Whittington’s very old cat (c.700 years!)

We paid to see the dead in the east section of Highgate Cemetery…

Perhaps an opportunity for Scouse entrepreneurs in graves exists here?

We met MarxnMax (KarlnWall) and the great Frieze-Greene, Number One cinematographer, as his descendants had obviously spent much time, money and effort establishing for his posterity and their futures! Hutch the singer was there, too.

Eventually we made it to the café at Number 325 Archway.

There, we revived ourselves. While Pauline had another coffee, I ventured next door to Number 323 home of ‘sound 323’ (read card)…

So, I went through the discs on display and what I acquired now forms the basis for this evening’s loosely planned journey into improv… (mainly).  I only got back on Tuesday afternoon,
