- Funding news. Good news for once we have received a small amount of money from The Community Foundation for Merseyside, which may result in "special voice session" maybe featuring significant artists. We will have to see if the money stretches that far.
|
- Who's who
- Vocal Play is delivered by SWIM: Sound Workshops in Music which is the education and participation department of Frakture.org
- Sadly Anne Marie Howard has left SWIM: soundworkshops in music but will be delivering the November & December Vocal Play sessions, and we wish her well for the future and thanks her for our shared past.
- This means SWIM: is currently managed by Phil Morton. He is looking for additional partners who are interested in co-running workshops for Frakture [ usually voluntary] and externally for fee paying customers, for both the voice and instrumentalists. SWIM's co-partnership with Everyday Music for the People with Instruments session is our first foray in the great north-west. Phil Morton is looking to expand the workshop packages so if the improvisation-community-workshop mix is your bag: get in touch.
