THE LONG WALK is an extraordinary adventure in music and song taking place in Liverpool from January to March 2008. Commissioned by the Culture Company and Arts Council England.You could be part of the massive performances in the GREAT HALL at CORNERSTONE on March 14 and 15 th. This piece is a musical response to the Morecambe Bay tragedy of 2004 produced by Peter Moser from More Music working with the poet Lemn Sissay and a host of Liverpool musical organisations.

The music and visuals will be outstanding and it’s not too late to get involved. OPEN SESSIONS are taking place at the following times…. Start your journey on ANY of the dates below.

A unique opportunity to participate in part one of the Long Walk Performances, a series of sonic and musical episodes that will take place on the streets of china town during a Soundwalk. The “China Town” landscape is integrated into the performance, the sights sounds and smells as the audience drifts through the streets and buildings whilst we artists and improvisers provide SOUNDS exploring the themes of Home & Time to move; sometimes noticed, sometimes not.

Musicians / improvisers are also invited to participate in the second part of the show at the Cornerstone too.

Rehearsals at Parr Street Studios; dates and times to be mutually agreed.
