Launched on the 22nd September 2004, initially Splash Gigs were delivered as batches, 2/3 gigs close together, featuring 2 or 3 "bands" on each night hence the name. Experience has produced a change and we now deliver 1-4 splash gigs spread a year. Splash gigs now invite musicians to meet and play free improvised music in a series of planned and random groupings as arranged on the night.
Musicians register and interest to play and then are invited to play.

A Splash of Improvisation 20 December 20th 2007 An evening of two and threes! a departure from the normal evening of performing groups we present an evening of small trios, duos from those present. Present will be host Phil Morton, accidents and treatments and special guest multi instrumentalist "mole" with his saxaphone too. This is likely to turn into a Xmas party lubricated with drinks, pies, merriments and a joyful noise.....
