Lee Patterson Biog.
Since leaving the University of Salfords Visual Arts BA with
First class honours in 2002, Lee Pattersons work has featured
in The National Review of Live Art; Glasgow; Futursonic, Manchester;
Ineditos:Esto es vida, Madrid and Barcelona; Overgaden Sound Art
Festival, Copenhagen; Thermo04, Salford, The 2:13 Festival, Athens;
Playing John Cage, Bristol; The Donau Festival, Austria, and Sonar06,
Barcelona.
Contact Listening, his first solo exhibition, took place at Mid
Pennine Gallery, Burnley, U.K. in 2004.
In trio with David Toop and Rhodri Davies he has played and recorded
in London, and during November 2006 they will feature in the Huddersfield
Contemporary Music Festival. He is a member of the critically acclaimed
quintet, Common Object, commissioned for the LMC Annual Festival
of Experimental Music, London, 2005.
He has performed with Angharad Davies, Rhodri Davies, Phil Durrant,
Ben Gwilliam, Graham Halliwell, Giuseppe Ielasi, Helmut Lemke, Alastair
Leslie, Kaffe Matthews, Sachiko M, The Owl Project, Evan Parker,
Jez Riley, Akio Suzuki, David Toop, Rafael Toral, Paul Vogel, Alex
Ward, Daniel Weaver and Ami Yoshida.
He is currently producing the radio show, Audio Sketchbook, for
Resonance FM, London
