Car
Coming from the M6 Liverpool you can reach Liverpool by joining
the M53, M56, M58 or M62. Liverpool City Centre is approximately
45 minutes drive from Chester, Manchester and North Wales; just
over 1hour from Blackpool and the Lake District, Yorkshire Moors
and Peak District National Parks; and 4 hours from London.
Coach

Express coaches run services to Liverpool from many major towns
and cities.
There are half hourly services from Manchester, hourly services
from York and every two hours from London and Birmingham, plus international
routes from Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris.

John Lennon Airport is just 8 miles from the City Centre. There
are regular scheduled flights from Belfast and Dublin and Cork,

Nice, Paris, Palma and Malaga.
A regular Airport Express 500 bus service operates
between the Airport and City Centre seven days a week. Taxis are
also available outside the terminal.
Manchester
Airport offers an International gateway from all parts of the
world. There is a rail link from Manchester Airport directly into
Liverpool City Centre (journey time approximately 1 hour). There
are regular shuttle flights into Manchester from Britain's other
major airports including Gatwick and Heathrow.
